Kent Campbell comes to Sustainable You as an Associate with years of experience in entrepreneurial, private sector and governmental arenas. He has worked with numerous companies to help them succeed and grow in the global economy by way of exports, joint ventures, technology transfers, strategic alliances, new market entry, and foreign direct investment.
Kent has led a number of international trade missions for the State of Nebraska and continually generated trade leads for Nebraska companies to export/form joint ventures. He was the co-administrator of the U.S. SBA State Trade Export Program Grant, where over three years, it was used by over 60 Nebraska small businesses for 280 unique business activities, generating over $30 million in value.
Kent also worked for a number of years at the U.S. Department of Commerce as a Business & Trade specialist, sector focused on supply chains, clean tech & emerging technologies. He ran multiple international delegation B2B programs at major trade shows, as well as led U.S. trade missions to Central America, Europe and Asia.
In his latest venture, Kent has worked with ThermOptical Cooling, an advanced manufacturing laser-based early-stage startup within the climate tech industry, in business development and operations.
Kent has a B.A. in International Relations & Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State to expand his technical knowledge and passion for clean energy and the environment.
